Established in 2015, Montgomery Pride United provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ people and advocates for our rights in the Deep South. Our center holds support groups, provides resources, and hosts community gatherings. The lions' basic social unit is the pride —a permanent social group consisting of two to eighteen adult females and their offspring and one to seven resident adult males.
